MURRAY GOLDMAN

MURRAY
GOLDMAN

The Solomonic passage summarizes the art of land development and essential skill needed for property acquisition. To succeed in Real Estate, one needs to be blessed with an added dimension of vision, to see beyond the here and now, to see from the heart. Over the course of five decades Murray Goldman has been engaged in every aspect of the industry, assembled some of the most prestigious parcels or land and built quality buildings throughout in Toronto, Israel and New York City.

His unassuming demeanor, patience, and perception, have earned Mr. Goldman the respect and trust of bankers, brokers, tradesmen, and colleagues. Yet, not-withstanding the high profile land developers may enjoy, Murray remains modest and sensitive to the less fortunate. Fond memories of growing up in the east coast "Shtetel" of Glace Bay, N.S. where life was centred around the Shul and Talmud Torah have made a lasting impression on him.

So too, Eretz Yisroel has been business acumen. Murray believes that to demonstrate genuine commitment to Israel one should invest in its economy, and establish lasting links with the country and its citizens.

In addition to being cognizant that his business success is by the grace of God, Murray enjoys helping others. While some may view charity as a communal responsibility, Murray considers "giving" a partnership opportunity where both parties can gain immeasurably, which is a win-win situation.

For almost three decades Mr. Goldman has generously supported the Jewish Community and taken a leadership role in many endeavors. He is especially impressed by an entrepreneurial approach to assume challenging projects, such as this one, having witnessed Rabbi Karfunkle's success from a humble beginning.

Murray shares the satisfaction in having helped improve the quality of Jewish life in our community.
